Military

At almost any point in history ancient Egypt was at war. Whether defending or conquering is a different story. The armies were organized by the Pharoah. The army was also lead by the Pharaoh, but he was usually in the back shouting out commands instead of out on the front line. The usual items you would find a soldier carrying would be a scimitar, a small leather shield, and a kilt or thin clothing. No armor of any sort was carried except for the Pharaoh's gaurds and the commanding soldiers.
